Boynton Beach, FL. August 3, 20120– Today, Aviation, Power & Marine, LLC (AP+M) announced that power generation industry veteran, Jay McClaugherty Sr., has joined the company. Jay will serve as Sales Manager – Southwestern USA. His territory will include Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California and Hawaii.
Jay’s experience is impressive. His 30 years expertise with GE® LM series gas turbines were preceded by several years of experience, education and training in industrial electrical and control systems. His LM series gas turbine career began as a field service engineer with S&S Energy Products, accumulating almost 15 years in field services with S&S and TransCanada Turbines (TCT). Since his time in field services, he has spent the past 15 years in Sales and Product Manager roles with TCT, MTU Maintenance, ProEnergy Services and EthosEnergy. This extensive 30+ years of experience in the gas turbine market provide him with an in-depth knowledge of power plant and gas turbine maintenance, an abundance of contacts & great reputation with many of the LM series operators in the USA. His understanding of customer needs in the IGT market and established customer relationships will be a great asset to AP+M as we continue to serve USA and worldwide customers with OEM parts distribution, component repair and field service support via APS Energy Services, our field service division.
